Pro-Anorexia tips and pro-Anorexia websites often get a bad rap of teaching young people how to starve themselves. While there may be some radical pro ana tips and tricks that condition you psychologically against eating, many other tips to getting skinny have been studied, proven, and recommended by health websites, dietitians, and scientific research. Feel free to use the following tips as an excuse to your family or for more motivation.
1. Do cardio before strength training.
In a recent study, researchers examined how many calories that exercisers burned doing one of four workout combinations:
1- Running only
2- Strength training only
3- Running then the strength training
4- Strength training then running.
They found that while all combinations give higher rates of calories burned at rest for two hours after the exercise, those who did running followed by strength training showed the highest rate burned among all groups.
2. Eat smaller portions.
Heidi Klum has been known to keep a hot supermodel’s body even after giving birth to four kids. What’s her secret? She eats small portioned meals four to five times a day. According to researchers, because no matter how much you eat, the body will always feel hungry every two to three hours, and it digests whatever it could in between those periods, combined with exercise you will also burn off more.
Instead of walking to the store that is 15 minutes of walking distance away, they would prefer to ride their cars. If you’re going somewhere you know you can reach within 30 minutes walking, ditch your car and move those skinny legs. Here’s a bonus if you do: more people can see how much weight you have lost.
4. Keep a food diary.
Numerous studies show that people who keep a record of what they eat while on a diet lose more weight than those on the diet who don’t track their food. You can also go as far as setting daily calorie limits for yourself, and researching the calorie count of every bite you eat.
5. Drink lots of water.
Drinking water keeps your stomach full and speeds up your metabolism. Researchers say that hunger pains don’t always say you’re hungry, sometimes they indicate thirst. So before you take a bite out of that apple slice, or punish yourself with a snap of rubber band on your wrist, drink one glass of water and distract yourself for 30 minutes
